His painting was done from a picture of him being held. See my Home page for the cropped version of the photo. The photo is very important to get the best portrait possible. If you commission a painting, I'll send you tips on what works best.

This painting was a gift to his owner, in memory of Louis, who got sick and died too young. The photo shows a plain white sheet and I customized it to look like their own comforter.

Penny
I created a neutral background to complement her home and show her portrait on the side to see the effect of using a one inch canvas and wrapping her image around it. This technique works best on the thicker canvas which is meant not to be framed.

Annie is a sweet Lab done from a picture of her from her younger days. The background (which is hard to see on-line) is painted to look like the marble on their fireplace.

His painting is done with a more graphic and modern style. I wanted to do Neko in almost a paint by number style.

Millie's background was inspired by the denim couch she lays on.
Buddy is a sweet Maltese who posed for me in front of a fun colorful pillow. That fabric inspired the wallpaper style background of his portrait.
